Getting Started with Skills
This guide walks you through adding an OriginalVoices skill to your AI assistant in under a minute.
Prerequisites
- An AI assistant that supports skills (e.g. Claude, Manus)
- OriginalVoices connected to your assistant (setup guides)
Step 1: Download a Skill
Browse the Skills Library and click the download link for the skill you want. Each skill is a single .md file.
Step 2: Upload the Skill
Upload the downloaded .md file to your AI assistant.
- Open claude.ai and go to Settings
- Scroll to the Skills section
- Click Add skill
- Select Upload a skill
- Choose the
.mdfile you downloaded
That's it - the skill is now active in your account.
Step 3: Use the Skill
Start a new conversation and ask naturally. Your AI assistant automatically recognises when a skill is relevant and activates it.
For example, with the Deep Customer Research skill installed, just ask:
"I need to understand what parents think about screen time management apps. Research parents aged 28-45 in the US with children under 12."
The assistant will follow the skill's structured workflow - designing research questions, querying OriginalVoices Digital Twins, analysing responses, and delivering a full research report.
TIP
You don't need to mention the skill by name. The AI reads the skill descriptions and activates the right one based on what you're asking.
